Dana rolled her eyes and groaned. “Jesse, really. Stop.” She really didn’t want to be irritated but that is what usually happens when she first wakes up. “Oh, well that makes sense.” A smirk formed and she started to play with his hair. “Wait, so you were watching me sleep. That’s creepy, babe.” Dana laughed softly and shook her head. “Trying to be like one of those freakin’ vampire or some shit? The ones that watch you while you sleep. I can’t let that happen.” She kissed him again softly, smiling against his lips. She looked at the clock and shrugged. “You’re right. But it’s almost the afternoon and we don’t have all day to explore. Plus, I need to buy your present. I need your help with that.”
Dana rolled her eyes playfully and made a face. “Well, I just thought you would love to see me naked again. If you didn’t like it, I guess it won’t happen again.” She laughed to herself as she was watching for a look on his face. She knew it would probably be priceless. She knows how he feels when it comes to seeing her naked. “Someone is being selfish. Maybe I wanted to do that later? Forget it now.” She smirked teasingly. “Whatever I want to do? Sounds nice.” Dana started thinking of what they could do. She really couldn’t think of something. “Babe, I don’t know. Why don’t you just pick something out. I’m new to this city. I’m sure you’ve been here a lot.” She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck. “Let’s do something fun. Nothing boring.” She chuckled and pressed her lips to his cheek.
Jesse was sure that he was almost always on the verge or irritating Dana, so he wasn’t all that surprised when the tone in her voice quickly changed. He knew that he pushed things a bit far sometimes, but he couldn’t help it. He knew that she had just woken up and was probably irritable, but he loved kissing her. He stopped of course and then rolled her eyes at her response to what he had said. “I wasn’t watching you sleep,” he said, his eyes narrowing slightly. “I woke up, looked at you, and then started kissing you.” He shook his head slightly when she laughed. “You know, some people would find it cute, not creepy. But, I don’t know… Maybe I am.” He sat up and glanced over at her. “We both know how addicted I am to your neck. Maybe I’m just getting you used to it so you won’t think anything’s weird when I bite you and suck out your blood.” He looked at her curiously. “Buy my present? Well…now you’ve really got me curious.”
Jesse looked at her, his voice devoid of all amusement. “I do enjoy seeing you naked, but that’s not a very good gift and I would be incredibly sad if I didn’t get to see you naked again.” He sighed dramatically. “You really play with my feelings, you know- offering me your naked body and then saying I won’t see it again.” Finally coming out of the bathroom, he said, “No, no. I was not being selfish. I was just giving a suggestion. I would love it if you would let me join you in the shower sometime this weekend.” He walked over to her and slipped his arms around her waist. “Okay, let’s see… What could we do?” He kissed her lips quickly before stepping away from her and going over to the bed. “Well, I was thinking about taking you ice skating. Or we could wander through the park until I think of something else. It’s a shame that there’s no snow yet, it would look really pretty in there.”
Dana was sometimes irritated by Jesse. This just happened to be the day that he did irritate her.
She did feel somewhat bad about being irritable with him. “I’m sorry, I just got up. Give me a few minutes, okay?” She quickly kissed him and opened her eyes more. Dana started to laugh as she had seen his reaction to her comment. “Mhm. Sure. Whatever you say. ” She shook be head and looked at Jesse. “Well, I find it just a little creepy. Don’t judge me. I’m definitely not like a lot of people. You know that.” Everyone knew that. All they had to do was look at her and tell that she is nothing like other girls. “I know that. I’m not complaining. I like the attention my neck gets from you.” Dana smiled. “I hope you’re not a vampire, Mr. St. James. I don’t like vampires. They are kinda freaky.”
“Well, I wanted to wait but I don’t think I can much longer. I was thinking that later tonight, we can see one of those Broadway musicals. My treat. I just don’t know what show you would want to see.” The girl let out a loud laugh and nodded. “I know. You’re just so addicted to my sexy body.” She smirked at him before kissing his cheek. “I really try not to play with your feelings. I guess it’s a habit.” As Jesse finally got out of the bathroom, her head turned to look at him. “I think you were. It’s okay though. I’m pretty sure that you will join me in the shower this weekend and you better enjoy it.” As Dana ran her fingers through his hair, she looked at him excitedly. “Ice skating, huh? Well, I’m up for it. I’m not much of an ice skater though.”
